Our company was established in April 1954 as a sales distributor of products manufactured by the Nishiumi Group Companies, whose core company is Sanwa Seiki Ltd.
We have continued to grow based on the management policy “Respecting Humanity” and “Company Objectives” which were set up by our founder, Mr. Toshio Nishiumi.

In pursuit of our core Corporate Philosophy – “contributing to society through industrial products” – we have expanded beyond our original focus on safety-critical vehicle components manufactured by the Nishiumi Group companies. Our business now encompasses comprehensive factory solutions “from entrance to exit,” including machine tools, industrial equipment, and factory construction services has been added to our lineup. History

1954. 4	Established in Asakusabashi, Taito-ku, Tokyo, with the purpose of selling railway vehicle equipment, automotive equipment, and instruments from SANWASEIKI and Koshin Seikosho.
1960. 2	Opened the Nagoya Branch (originally Nagoya Office).
1966. 8	Opened the Osaka Branch (originally Osaka Office).
1971. 9	Acquired exclusive agency rights for turret lathe automation equipment (Master Auto) through a business partnership between Hitachi Seiki and Koshin Seikosho.
1979. 4	Opened the Northern Kanto Branch (originally Northern Kanto Sales Office).
1979.12	Relocated the head office to Itabashi-ku, Tokyo.
1989. 6	Opened the Chiba Sales Office.
1994.11	Opened the Nagano Branch (originally Nagano Sales Office).
2006.1	Absorbed Nishiumi International Co., Ltd., and reorganized it as the Third Sales Department.
2008. 6	Established Shanghai Sanwa Trading Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China.
2012.1	Completed construction of the new head office building
2013.1	Established a subsidiary in Thailand, Sanwa Sangyo (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
2013.12	Integrated the Chiba Sales Office into the head office.
2015. 7	Completed construction of the new Northern Kanto Branch
2017.11	Completed construction of the new Nagano Branch
2020. 9	Transferred operations of Shanghai Sanwa Trading Co., Ltd. and renamed it Shanghai Sanqiao Trading Co., Ltd., which continued as a partner company
2023. 9	Began new construction work for the Osaka Branch
2024. 3	Entered into a capital and business alliance with Daito Kogyo Co., Ltd., to strengthen the construction business.
